TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT

This Terms and Conditions Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between ỤZỌ TRAVELS ("ỤZỌ"), a travel company, and the undersigned participant ("Participant") for participation in the group trip to Dakar, Senegal, from Monday 3rd November to Tuesday 11th November 2025 ("Trip"). By signing this Agreement, the Participant agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Trip Details

Trip Dates: Monday 3rd November to Tuesday 11th November 2025Destination: Dakar, Senegal Group Size: 1 - 10

2. Payments and Packages

Package 1 - Standard Package£2,250 per participant (Single occupancy)

Package 2 - Premium Package£2,550 per participant (Single occupancy)

Instalments

Participants have the option to pay for the trip via instalments. Instalments will be paid in three, four, five or six instalments (the instalments are predetermined payment blocks based on the month the Participant pays the deposit), starting from the month of booking.

Full Payments

Participants have the option to pay for the trip in full at the time of booking.

Payment Reminders

Participants opting to pay in instalments will receive timely payment reminders via email prior to each due date.

3. Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a spot on the trip:

£300 (Standard Package)

£450 (Premium Package)

All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

4. Refund Policy

Participants may request a refund for any payments made, excluding the deposit, provided the request is made on or before 2nd October 2025 (the 3rd of October is not included). Refund requests must be made in writing via email to uzotravelgroup@gmail.com, vanessaugbo@gmail.com, or by submitting a query on the website at www.uzotravelgroup.com.

Refund Policy for Day Passes

Participants purchasing Day Passes are also subject to the same refund policy as above. Refunds for Day Pass purchases will exclude the deposit and must be requested in writing on or before 2nd October 2025. Requests should be sent to uzotravelgroup@gmail.com, vanessaugbo@gmail.com, or submitted through www.uzotravelgroup.com.

5. Default on Payments

Participants who miss an instalment payment deadline will receive a reminder email. If payment is not made within three days of the reminder, the Participant's trip will be automatically cancelled, and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

6. ỤZỌ Cancellation

If ỤZỌ cancels the trip for any reason, Participants will receive a credit note equal to the amount paid. This credit will be valid for 24 months from the cancellation date. If unused within that period, the credit will be forfeited.

7. Global Pandemic

If the trip is cancelled due to a global pandemic, Participants will receive a credit valid for 24 months. After this period, the credit will be forfeited.

8. Responsibilities of the Participant

a) Passport and Visa Participants are responsible for ensuring their passport is valid (minimum six months after arrival in Senegal) and for obtaining any necessary visas. ỤZỌ is not responsible for denied entry.

b) Flights Participants must book their own flights and provide ỤZỌ with arrival and departure details.

c) Travel Insurance Participants are responsible for securing travel insurance. ỤZỌ will not handle or reimburse travel insurance claims.

d) Additional Meals and Expenses One meal per day will be provided. All other meals, alcoholic drinks, souvenirs, and personal expenses are the Participant's responsibility.

9. Accommodations and Room Assignments

All Participants will receive single occupancy rooms. Room upgrades or specific hotel requests may be accommodated but are not guaranteed.

10. Itinerary and Activities

a) Itinerary Changes While every effort will be made to follow the planned itinerary, changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

b) Included Activities Transportation to all itinerary locations, entry fees, and activity costs are covered.

c) Independent Activities ỤZỌ is not responsible for Participants who choose to explore independently outside of group activities.

11. Group Leader Travel Costs By booking and paying for this trip, you acknowledge and accept that a portion of your payment contributes to the travel and accommodation costs of the group leader. This includes, but is not limited to, the group leader’s airfare, hotel stay, and on-ground logistical expenses directly related to the facilitation and coordination of the trip experience.

12. Media Release

By signing this Agreement, the Participant grants ỤZỌ the right to use their image and/or video footage for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to the website, Instagram, TikTok, and other media platforms.

13. Airport Transfers

a) Provided Transfers ỤZỌ will provide airport pickup and drop-off for all Participants who provide their flight details.

b) Missed Transfers ỤZỌ is not responsible for missed transfers due to flight changes not communicated in time.

14. Indemnity and Liability

a) Assumption of Risk Participants accept that the trip involves some risks. ỤZỌ is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct.

b) Indemnity Participants agree to indemnify and hold ỤZỌ harmless from claims or damages arising from their trip participation, including those related to injury, property loss, or incidents outside of ỤZỌ-organized activities.

15. Complaints Procedure

a) During the Trip Participants should report complaints to a ỤZỌ representative onsite.

b) After the Trip Formal complaints can be sent within 14 days to vanessaugbo@gmail.com with full details and supporting documents.

c) Response Time Complaints will be acknowledged within 7 days and answered within 28 days.

d) Further Action Participants may seek legal redress under the laws of England and Wales if unsatisfied with the final decision.

16. Privacy and Data Protection

ỤZỌ complies with UK GDPR. Your data is collected lawfully, processed transparently, secured appropriately, and only shared with trusted travel service providers. You have rights to access, amend, or delete your personal data. Contact vanessaugbo@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

17. Inclusion Policy

Our group trips are curated for individuals of African, Caribbean, and mixed heritage with African or Caribbean roots. This focus ensures a safe, inclusive, and culturally aware environment. At this time, we do not accommodate individuals outside these backgrounds, though we may consider expanding our inclusivity in the future.
